We do not have a reception area in the practice –  for this reason we have a ‘spot sign’ to indicate when I am with a patient:

RED SPOT = please wait

GREEN SPOT = please enter

Please noteWhen attending OSTEOPATHY COBARGO please refrain from the use of scented deodorants, perfumes or fragrant cosmetics. Some of the chemical constituents in these products can trigger migraines, nausea and other neurological symptoms in chemically sensitive patients.

I have been in osteopathic practice since graduating from RMIT in 2002. My approach to osteopathy is best described as ‘enactive’. An enactive approach is about working with patients to bring about conceptual change,  insight and new ways of inhabiting a body through action. This therapeutic approach oftentimes includes a good deal of basic pain science, exploration and prescription of functional movement practices as well as related anatomy & physiology. These are situated in the wider context of your lived experience. This way of working sits well in an increasingly evidence-informed and biopsychosocial healthcare environment.

I am a very hands-on osteopath. I employ a wide variety of osteopathic techniques and continually endeavour to attune my approach to the needs and characteristics of every patient because every patient has a unique experience and understanding of their own body.

Along with my partner Nicole Neveu, I am co-developer of MESHWORKa learning platform that explores embodiment as the basis of health. MESHWORK is a synthesis of our approaches to basic issues of being in a body. MESHWORK courses reflect our commitment to up-skilling patients in a manner that promotes resilience and a capacity for intelligent and comprehensive self care.
